Alexander Paolo Tan

Alexander joined Valecap in 2022 as an intern, actively contributing to various projects and progressively taking on greater operational responsibilities. He gained hands-on experience in the origination, structuring, and execution of complex M&A and structured/project finance transactions, with a particular focus on no-recourse structures.

He has worked across multiple sectors, including private — such as photovoltaic, wind, battery energy storage systems and EV charging infrastructures — and public, notably in the integrated water service sector.

Prior to joining Valecap, Alexander worked at PwC, where he advised banking groups on optimizing their operational processes.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Catania and a Master's degree in Financial Markets and Intermediaries from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. His thesis focused on the application of project finance in the modeling of photovoltaic projects.
