{"id":4532,"date":"2026-09-30T14:27:21","date_gmt":"2026-09-30T12:27:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.valecap.com\/portfolio\/eos-im-august-2026\/"},"modified":"2026-10-01T11:11:35","modified_gmt":"2026-10-01T09:11:35","slug":"eos-im-august-2026","status":"publish","type":"cpt_portfolio","link":"https:\/\/www.valecap.com\/it\/portfolio\/eos-im-august-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"EOS IM (August 2026)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In August 2026, <strong>ValeCap<\/strong> acted as <strong>exclusive financial<\/strong> advisor to <strong>EOS Investment Management<\/strong> (\u201c<strong>EOS IM<\/strong>\u201d) in structuring a <strong>\u20ac62 million project financing package<\/strong> for the construction of a <strong>60 MW Ready-to-Build photovoltaic project located in Sicily<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>EOS IM is an independent fund manager and independent power producer<\/strong>, active in the development, construction and operation of renewable energy power plants, with a strong focus on photovoltaic projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The financing package consisted of a <strong>construction facility aimed at financing the project\u2019s construction capex<\/strong>, with <strong>repayment supported by project cash flows with full merchant exposure<\/strong>. In addition, <strong>upon execution of an Energy Release or Power Purchase Agreement<\/strong>, either before or after Commercial Operation Date, <strong>the financing provides for a true-up facility aimed at further increasing leverage and refinancing the equity already injected through an extraordinary distribution.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The financing package also included ancillary facilities comprising a VAT facility, a DSR facility and a guarantee facility<\/strong> to support guarantees that may be required under the relevant Energy Release or PPA Agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The two-tranche financing structure provides EOS IM with flexibility in determining the project\u2019s route-to-market strategy<\/strong> during the construction period and for a certain period following COD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>UniCredit acted as lender, as well as agent, global coordinator, structuring mandated lead arranger and green loan coordinator for the Facility<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This transaction highlights <strong>ValeCap\u2019s expertise in supporting renewable energy developers in structuring flexible financing solutions tailored to their route-to-market strategy<\/strong>, while further strengthening its track record in
