In September 2026, ValeCap acted as exclusive financial advisor to Ignis Energy Europe (“Ignis”) for the sale of a greenfield portfolio of photovoltaic (“PV”) and wind projects (the “Portfolio”) to flyRen Energy Group (“flyRen”).
Ignis is a leading European investor active in the renewable energy space, vertically integrated alongside the whole renewable energy sources value chain, including project development, provision of energy management services and production of renewable fuels.
flyRen is an independent Italian renewable energy platform, acting as independent green power producer (“IPP”) through a portfolio of property assets and with expertise in development, construction and asset management for energy projects.
flyRen majority shareholder is a fund managed by Foresight Group, an international investment manager with focus and expertise, among others, on real assets and energy transition projects.
The list of activities carried out by ValeCap includes:
- Preparation of transaction marketing material for the presentation of the project to perspective investors
- Management of a highly competitive process for the selection of the buyer
- Negotiation of transaction commercial terms
- Coordination of the due diligence process
- Support for the negotiation of transaction documentation and financial close
